Loofah and exfoliating soap: less friction, more feeling

A rough surface can quickly feel like a particularly thorough cleansing. With loofah and exfoliating soaps, it is still worth starting carefully. The skin does not need a competition over how much friction it can withstand.

What a mechanical scrub does

It removes superficial dead skin cells through friction. This is not detoxification or a treatment for skin diseases. You should not use such products on irritated, injured, or inflamed skin. Coarse body scrubs are also not a good choice for the face.

A little pressure is enough

Follow the product's application instructions and do not apply force. You do not need to exfoliate daily. If the skin burns or feels sore, stop and rinse off. A pleasant shower ritual can also do without any additional friction.

Two different options

The aloe vera loofah soap combines soap and loofah. A soap pouch, on the other hand, is a separate accessory. Both can increase friction. Therefore, more accessories do not automatically mean more care.

Dry carefully after the shower

Rinse used sponges and pouches thoroughly and let them dry completely. Do not share such exfoliating tools with other people. Also, pay attention to their cleaning and replacement instructions. A permanently damp pouch is not a good storage place for your soap bar.

If your skin is dry or sensitive anyway, focus on gentle cleansing and appropriate aftercare. Tips for a dry place in the bathroom can be found at storing natural soap properly.
